Connecting from Off-Campus

About Off-Campus Access

Access to certain electronic resources including the library’s catalog is restricted to current St. Gregory’s students, faculty, and staff. To get to the Library's subscription databases, e-journals and e-books when you are off-campus, you will need to log in to the library's proxy server.

Using the Proxy Server

Logging In from Off-Campus

If you are off campus, and you click a link to a database, article, e-book or e-journal from the library's website, you will be prompted to log in to the proxy server.

Students: Login using your last name as your username and your 9-digit SGU ID number as your password.

For example:

username: yourlastname
password: 123456789

Faculty/Staff:  Login using your e-mail username (do not use @stgregorys.edu) and password.

Once you have logged in, you will have access to the library's electronic resources while your browser session is open. If you start using a different browser or after 90 minutes of inactivity, you will have to log in again.
