Find Books at SGU

Search our catalog, SOULS, to find books, movies, journal titles* and more at SGU's James J. Kelly Library.

*Note: The catalog does not find individual articles within a magazine, journal, or

 newspaper.  To find articles, search the library's databases.  Learn more

Find Books at Other Libraries

Search other library catalogs to find materials not owned by the James J. Kelly Library.

Search WorldCat

WorldCat is an online catalog that lets you search the collections of more than 10,000 libraries around the wide. WorldCat is a good resource if you want to do a really comprehensive book search.

If you find a book in WorldCat that you want, and it isn't at SGU, then you can request it through Interlibrary Loan.

Search OK-Share Libraries

OK-Share is a program that allows current SGU students, faculty, and staff to borrow library materials from other participating college and university libraries around the state.

If you find a book in an OK-Share Library's catalog and it isn't at SGU, you can borrow it directly from that library using an OK-Share Card.  Learn how to get an OK-Share card.

If you are unable to get it through OK-Share, then you can request it through Interlibrary Loan.

Find Electronic Books

The library provides access to a number of eBook collections, which can be found on the library's Electronic Books page.  Individual eBooks from these collections can also be found in the library's online catalog, SOULS.  When searching for eBooks in the library catalog, limit your search to Electronic Resources.

In addition to the library's eBook collections, many of the library's article databases also include books and book excerpts.  A complete list of the library's databases can be found on the Databases & Electronic Resources page.

The Electronic Books page also includes links to websites that provide access to a variety of free eBooks.
